The vast Sacramento area offers its residents a choice of cosmopolitan and country living in a seismically safe environment – from the contemporary urban bustle of California’s capital city to the colorful landmarks, wineries and shops of the historic Gold Country. Weekend wine-tasting getaways to the Napa/Sonoma region are just 75 minutes from Serrano. Sacramento’s Mediterranean climate is moderate and features gentle seasonal changes.

The Sacramento area has professional ballet, theater and opera companies, and a rich variety of art galleries. It is home to several upscale shopping malls and a diversity of award-winning restaurants and hotels. The region is served by Sacramento International Airport, Amtrak (which features a number of daily commutes to San Jose and San Francisco Bay area cites), a light rail system and a major port. An ideal setting for water sports and other outdoor activities, the area also is home to the NBA’s Sacramento Kings basketball team, the annual international Jazz Jubilee, zoos, nature preserves and hundreds of parks.

The natural beauty of the area shines through with the change of the seasons.  The fall colors appear first of all at the higher elevations and gradually work their way down from the ski areas around Lake Tahoe to the Sacramento valley floor.

Any time of the year is beautiful around Lake Tahoe and a short drive from homes in the valley.  Country or in-town living choices are abundant here.

After everyone has finished skiing,  it's time to get out the bikes and enjoy the freshness of  spring.  Back country roads offer mile after mile of leisurely rides.  Maybe you would rather be on a dirt road along one of the rivers.

Spring festivals, farmers markets, hiking at the lower elevations beckon to the outdoor enthusiasts.  It's time to start your garden.

The many fine restaurants and theaters offer the diner and arts enthusiasts superb choices.  Small towns as well as the larger cites like Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto have good local theaters and great eateries.

Golf course properties, gated communities, new home subdivisions, long established areas with craftsman  cottages and large homes on tree lined streets, condos and town homes, every type of home from the  First Time Buyer Dream Home to the Active Adult Community is available here.  We will listen to your every wish and match you with the perfect home for you.
